The Crazies

The Crazies is a horror movie that tells the story of a small town in Iowa where a mysterious toxin in the water supply turns the residents into violent, uncontrollable maniacs. The sheriff, David Dutton, and his pregnant wife Judy, along with their assistant Becca and Deputy Russell, are among the few who remain uninfected and must fight for survival against the increasing number of infected townspeople. As they try to find a way out of town, they discover that the military has been ordered to shoot all civilians and that they are being hunted by soldiers and infected residents alike. The group faces numerous challenges and dangers as they try to stay alive and escape the town, including an attack helicopter, infected residents, and even each other. In the end, they learn that the toxin was a biological weapon called Trixie that was being transported on a cargo plane when it crashed into the river near their town.
