Thin Ice

Mickey Prohaska (Greg Kinnear) is an insurance agent struggling to make ends meet in Wisconsin. Desperate for a sale, he targets an elderly man named Gorvy Hauer (Alan Arkin) who possesses a rare violin. When Mickey's plan to steal the instrument is discovered by an ex-con named Randy Kinney (Billy Crudup), things take a dangerous turn. With Randy threatening to kill him, Mickey must find a way to get out of this precarious situation before it's too late. As he tries to sell the violin for millions, Mickey must confront the consequences of his actions and face off against Randy in a tense showdown. Will he be able to come out on top or will he fall victim to the thin ice he's been treading on?
