The Contract

Ex-lawman Ray Keene takes his son on a hiking trip to bond after he's caught smoking marijuana, but their adventure turns dangerous when they encounter wanted contract killer Frank Carden, who's being pursued by his own men. Ray and Chris have to get Carden to the authorities while avoiding his skilled thugs, leading to a tense standoff in a cabin and a final showdown at a funeral. As Ray saves Carden from an assassin, Carden lets father and son reunite and disappears, but not before threatening the person who hired him. Two weeks later, Ray starts a relationship with Sandra as they hear a radio report about the death of Hammond Sr. in a boating accident, realizing that Carden finished his job.
