The Classic

While cleaning her house, Ji-hye discovers her mother's old letters and diary detailing her own first love, which happened decades ago. The stories of the two generations of women intertwine as Ji-hye falls for Sang-min, who is also pursued by her friend Soo-kyeong. As Ji-hye reads her mother's letters, she learns about the trials and tribulations of her mother's youth, including a doomed love affair with a man named Joon-ha. Despite the different eras and circumstances, both Ji-hye and her mother Joo-hee experience the same intensely passionate feelings, demonstrating that true love never changes.
