The Champ

The Champ (1979) A former boxing champion struggling to provide for his son, T.J., gets back into the ring to recapture his past glory and secure a better future for his child. With the help of his trainer Jackie and support from his estranged wife Annie who returns after seven years seeking custody of T.J., Billy Flynn must overcome his personal demons and opponents in the ring to keep his son and find redemption. Will he succeed in reclaiming his title and winning back the love and respect of his family, or will he succumb to the harsh realities of the boxing world?
