Treading Water

Treading Water tells the story of Mica, a teenager with a unique medical condition that makes him smell like fish. Despite his rare condition, Mica holds out hope for finding love and acceptance. But with no friends and a dysfunctional family, his life seems doomed until he meets Laura, a girl who sees beyond his unusual scent and into his heart. With a cast featuring Douglas Smith, Zoe Kravitz, and Carrie-Anne Moss, this drama-comedy explores the complexities of family, love, and self-acceptance.
