Jaakko liebt B-Movies, sein Lieblingsregisseur ist John Carpenter. Seine DVD-Sammlung ist beeindruckend, nur James Camerons „Titanic“ hat er nie aus der Plastikverpackung geholt. Auch damals nicht, als er noch sehen konnte. Der junge Mann leidet an Multipler Sklerose, ist erblindet und sitzt im Rollstuhl. Mehrmals am Tag telefoniert er mit Sirpa, die er niemals getroffen hat. Die beiden flirten, sie erzählen sich schöne Dinge, teilen ihr Leid. Denn auch die Frau am anderen Ende der Leitung ist schwer krank. Als sie eine bittere Diagnose bekommt, beschließt Jaakko, sich in Bewegung zu setzen. Er ist auf die Hilfe fremder Menschen angewiesen – der Film wird zum Roadmovie und schließlich zum Krimi.
