In the dark and eerie basement of a sadistic killer, a timid 13-year-old boy named Finney Shaw must use his wit and resourcefulness to survive. But when a disconnected phone starts ringing and Finney discovers he can hear the voices of the killer's previous victims, he realizes that he is not alone in his struggle.
