The Beautiful Person is a coming-of-age story about Junie, a lessfive transfersocusesfter the death of her mother. She catches the eye of her Italian teacher, Nemours, who becomes obsessed with her, much to Junie's dismay. As their relationship deepens Junie struggles with her feelings, believing that happiness is only an illusion. Despite their efforts to resist their attraction, they succumb t their passion, leading to dire consequences.
