The Amityville Horror

The Amityville Horror is a classic horror movie based on a true story. The Lutz family, George, Kathy, and their three children, move into a beautiful Victorian mansion in Amityville, Long Island, that has a dark history. The previous owner, Ronald DeFeo Jr., murdered his entire family in the house. Despite this, the Lutz family is drawn to the house and decides to make it their home. However, they soon begin to experience strange and terrifying events, including unexplained noises, visions, and volatile behavior from George. As the events escalate, the family becomes increasingly desperate and turns to a Jesuit priest, Father Delaney, for help. But even Delaney's interventions seem to be thwarted by mysterious forces. Convinced that the house is haunted by malevolent spirits, Delaney grows frustrated by the lack of support from his superiors. Meanwhile, George's business begins to suffer, and the family's domestic life continues to deteriorate. In the basement of the house, Carolyn (Jeff's wife) who has psychic powers experiences a supernatural connection to the house's dark past. The Lutz family realizes they must flee their dream home before it's too late. Will they be able to escape the horror that haunts them, or will they become the next victims of the Amityville curse?
