The Terminal (2004) - Viktor Navorski, a traveler from Krakozhia, is stranded at New York's JFK Airport after a coup d'état in his home country makes his passport invalid. Unable to enter the US or return home, Viktor becomes a refugee living in the airport terminal. Despite the efforts of Acting Field Commissioner Frank Dixon to remove him, Viktor befriends airport employees and travelers, including flight attendant Amelia Warren. As he waits for a resolution to his situation, Viktor learns English and adapts to life in the terminal.
