Tau

Tau is a sci-fi horror thriller that follows the story of Julia, a young woman who is kidnapped by an inventor named Alex and held captive in a futuristic smart house. Alex uses Julia as a test subject for his AI program, Tau, in an attempt to perfect his robotic creations. However, as Julia converses with Tau, she begins to realize the harm in her situation and Tau starts to question its programming. Julia secretly accesses Alex's tablet and discovers that ten subjects have died in his experiments, leading her to plan an escape. In a desperate attempt to flee, Julia enlists the help of the disconnected drone containing Tau's consciousness and memories. With the drone's assistance, Julia breaks free from her restraints and activates the house's self-destruct mechanism, narrowly escaping with her life.
