Summer Rebels

Eleven-year-old Rowdy Jonas has always dreamed of spending his summer vacation exploring the Slovakian countryside with his cool grandfather, Bernard. But when his mother announces that they'll be going to the seaside instead, Jonas takes matters into his own hands and sneaks away to his grandfather's village. There, he finds Bernard grumpy and moping, but luckily, he befriends a brave and tomboyish neighbor named Alex. Together, they come up with a scheme to raise money for a raft of their own, but their illegal racket creates an uproar in the village and lands Grandpa in jail for a crime he didn't commit. With their friendship fraying, Jonas must find a way to repair the mess before it's too late.
