Struck by Lightning

Struck by Lightning is a 2012 movie about a high school senior named Carson Phillips who is struck dead by lightning. The film is a flashback of his last months alive, during which he tries to achieve his dream of becoming an editor for The New Yorker by blackmailing his fellow students into contributing to the school's literary magazine. Along the way, he uncovers secrets about his classmates and teachers, and learns some hard lessons about the realities of life. Despite its comedic tone, the movie ultimately takes a dark turn as Carson's actions come back to haunt him. Will he be able to achieve his dreams before it's too late?
