Straight Time

Straight Time tells the story of Max Dembo, a career criminal who is released from prison after six years and tries to go straight. However, his parole officer, Earl Frank, is determined to make his life difficult and Max soon finds himself back in jail. Despite his attempts to stay on the right side of the law, Max is eventually pulled back into a life of crime and violence, ultimately leading to a tragic confrontation with the law. The film features powerful performances from Dustin Hoffman and Gary Busey as two men struggling with their own demons.
