Spree

A young man named Kurt Kunkle becomes a rideshare driver to pursue his dream of becoming a social media star. Obsessed with gaining followers, he starts killing his passengers and live-streaming the murders to gain attention. As his notoriety grows, he becomes known as "The Rideshare Killer" and is pursued by the police. In a thrilling climax, Kurt is confronted by a comedian named Jessie Adams, who he had previously tried to kill. Jessie defeats Kurt and takes credit for stopping his rampage, becoming a nationwide star in the process. Meanwhile, Kurt's killings become revered in small corners of the internet, with a user compiling them into a film titled "Spree." The movie is a dark commentary on the dangers of social media obsession and the lengths people will go to achieve fame.
