As Tara explored the options, she eventually came to believe she was being called to the unique vocation of consecrated virginity lived in the world. Song of Songs documents Tara’s journey with interviews from family, friends, co-workers, clergy members, and Tara, herself. It provides insight and information about the vocation of consecrated virginity and dispels many misconceptions about consecrated virgins. This inspiring story contrasts the culture of promiscuity prevalent in 21st century America with one woman’s pursuit of authentic love and commitment.
