In a future not too far away, Aya Okamura has started her own life, leaving her childhood home and her beloved cat, Mii-san, behind. But as she navigates the ups and downs of adulthood, she can't shake the feeling of loneliness that comes with leaving her family behind. When her father calls her with news of Mii-san's passing, Aya returns home to find comfort in her father's embrace and the memory of their beloved pet. As they grieve together, Aya realizes that even though things may change and people may grow apart, the love and connection we share with our family remains unbreakable.
