A Hong Kong detective (Jackie Chan) and a smart-talking American gambler (Johnny Knoxville) team up to take down a notorious Chinese crime boss (Winston Chao) who murdered the detective's partner and kidnapped his niece. The unlikely duo embarks on a dangerous and hilarious adventure across China, Russia, and Mongolia, encountering various obstacles and colorful characters along the way.
