Silver Streak

George Caldwell, a book editor, boards the luxurious Silver Streak train from Los Angeles to Chicago, hoping for a peaceful journey. However, his plans are derailed when he witnesses a murder and becomes embroiled in a dangerous game of cat and mouse with a group of criminals. With the help of a charming salesman named Grover Muldoon, George must outsmart the killers and uncover the truth behind their nefarious plot. As the train hurtles across the country, George and Grover find themselves in a series of hair-raising escapades that put their lives in peril. Will they be able to solve the mystery and make it to their destination alive?
