Shuvaa

Shuvaa is a heart-wrenching drama about a young woman named Shuvaa who was born deaf and dumb, despite being named Shuvashini, which means "one who has a melodious voice." She falls in love with Protap, a man from her village, but their love is threatened when her father refuses their marriage proposal and insults Protap's family. Shuvaa's father takes her and her mother to his eldest daughter's house, where she is forced to marry a man named Nibaron. Soon after their marriage, Nibaron learns of Shuvaa's condition and treats her with cruelty, leading to a life of misery for Shuvaa. Will Shuvaa ever find happiness and acceptance in a world that seems determined to silence her?
