Shirley Adams

Shirley Adams is a powerful drama that follows the story of a single mother struggling to care for her paraplegic son in a impoverished Cape Town neighborhood. Shirley's son, Donovan, was caught in the crossfire of a gang shootout and has been left with severe physical and emotional scars. With no support from her husband or the community, Shirley is forced to rely on handouts and shoplifting to make ends meet.
