She's All That

She's All That is a 1999 American teen romantic comedy film directed by Robert Iscove and starring Freddie Prinze Jr., Rachael Leigh Cook, and Paul Walker. The movie follows Zack Siler (Freddie Prinze Jr.), a popular high school student who is dumped by his girlfriend Taylor (Jodi Lyn O'Keefe) after spring break. Zack makes a bet with his friend Dean (Paul Walker) that he can turn any girl into the prom queen within six weeks. Dean chooses Laney Boggs (Rachael Leigh Cook), an unpopular art student, as the challenge. Zack tries to befriend Laney, but she ignores him until he asks for her help with art. After Laney volunteers Zack to perform onstage at a small theater lounge, he impresses her with his improvised hacky sack routine. However, Laney still rejects Zack's advances. When Zack shows up at her house, Laney agrees to let him take her to prom as friends but only if he promises not to try anything romantic. As they spend more time together, Zack and Laney develop feelings for each other, but their relationship faces challenges when Taylor returns and tries to win Zack back. In the end, Zack realizes that his true interest lies in Laney and not in winning the bet or impressing his friends. The film culminates in a dramatic prom night where Laney is crowned prom queen and she shares a romantic dance with Zack before they confess their love for each other.
