In the summer of 1963, four teenage girlfriends embark on a wild adventure in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Escaping their middle-class parents, they seek excitement, romance, and a chance to discover themselves. They dance, drink, and flirt their way through a spring festival, encountering cute boys, beauty pageants, and shaving cream pranks. As they navigate love, sex, and friendship, they must confront their beliefs and rules. Will they find happiness and self-discovery, or will their escapades lead to consequences they can't escape?
