Vladimir Bogdanov, a successful writer and TV host, has his life turned upside down when a doppelganger takes his place and steals his identity. No one seems to notice the switch, except for his daughter, who desperately wants the real Bogdanov back. The double takes over Bogdanov's TV show, meets with his fans, lives with his wife, and even has drinks with his friends, leaving Bogdanov feeling lost and powerless. As the battle for his life seems lost, Bogdanov must confront the harsh reality that the double may be better and more sincere than he ever was.
