Season of the Witch

In 14th century Europe, two disillusioned Crusaders, Behmen (Nicolas Cage) and Felson (Ron Perlman), are tasked by the Church with transporting a presumed witch to a remote abbey for trial. The woman is believed to be responsible for spreading the Black Plague, and the monks hope to perform a ritual that will end her supposed evil powers. On their perilous journey, the group faces dangerous obstacles and discovers that their mission may not be as straightforward as they thought. As they battle against dark forces, they begin to question whether their quest is truly just or if it's just another form of tyranny.
