In the picturesque town of Oberammergau, a young police officer named Kluftinger failed to prevent the theft of a priceless relic, the Reliquie des St. Magnus. Thirty years later, the Allgäuer Schutzpatron, a symbol of protection and hope, returns to its hometown, and Kluftinger sees this as an opportunity to redeem himself. However, things take an unexpected turn when Lodenbacher, the man in charge of security for the relic's exhibition, assigns Maier, a seemingly unlikely choice, to help protect it. As the opening night approaches, Kluftinger must confront his past and team up with Maier to ensure the safety of the relic and the town. Will they be able to solve the mystery and bring peace back to Oberammergau?
