In the remote Harz mountains, a young student named Nico inherits a mysterious estate called "Schattengrund." The house has a dark history, and Nico's childhood memories of vacationing there are tainted by a tragic accident that occurred in an abandoned silver mine. As Nico begins to uncover the secrets of the house, she realizes that something malevolent is at work, threatening to consume her and unleash a new wave of terror.
