Scent of a Woman

Charlie Simms, a college student from a modest background, takes a job over Thanksgiving weekend to look after retired Army Lieutenant Colonel Frank Slade, who is blind and has a reputation for being difficult. Despite their initial differences, the two men bond over the course of their time together, with Charlie learning valuable lessons about life and responsibility. As they spend more time together, Charlie comes to appreciate Frank's unique perspective on the world and learns to see things in a new light. Their unlikely friendship is put to the test when Frank reveals that he has plans to spend his last days in New York City, and Charlie must decide whether to support him on his final journey or return home for Christmas as planned. Ultimately, their shared experiences result in personal growth for both characters and leave them both forever changed.
