Goodbye, Someday

Goodbye, Someday tells the story of Higashigaito Yutaka, a man who finds himself torn between his arranged marriage to Michiko and his growing feelings for Touko, a woman he meets in Thailand. As the wedding date approaches, Yutaka's relationship with Touko intensifies before he ultimately chooses to break up with her and proceed with his marriage to Michiko. Twenty-five years later, Yutaka and Michiko are married with two sons, but Yutaka still harbors memories of Touko. When Yutaka returns to Bangkok on business, he discovers that Touko is now in charge of VIP guests at the Oriental Hotel where they had stayed together. The two realize their love for each other remains strong, but they are torn apart by their separate lives and responsibilities.
