Sanctuary

In the mid-1980s, a wave of violent attacks sweeps through Bayonne, a city in southern France, fueled by the quest for Basque independence. As the Spanish paramilitary organization GAL relentlessly hunts down members of the ETA terrorist group, Grégoire Fortin, an advisor to the French Minister of Justice, and Domingo "Txomin" Iturbe, ETA's high chief, must navigate a dangerous web of intrigue and negotiate a way to end the bloodshed. With tensions running high and lives on the line, they must find a way to bring peace to the troubled region.
