Samurai Marathon

In 1855, Japan is on the brink of modernization, but its feudal lords are resistant to change. When a powerful daimyo organizes a marathon to prepare his samurai for the impending threat of foreign invasion, his independent-minded daughter secretly joins the race, defying gender norms and putting her life at risk. As tensions rise and the marathon turns deadly, a young spy must navigate the treacherous world of politics and loyalty to prevent a tragic outcome.
