In the thriller movie Salt, a mother and daughter are haunted by a malevolent entity that can only be kept at bay by a circle of salt. Every night, the mother must replenish the circle to protect her daughter from the demonic force, but the entity becomes increasingly relentless in its pursuit. As the mother's resolve begins to falter, she must confront the dark secrets of her past to save her daughter and herself.
