Rurouni Kenshin Part I: Origins tells the story of Himura Kenshin, a former assassin who vows to never kill again after the end of the Bakumatsu war. He wanders Japan, helping those in need with his reverse-blade sword, while being haunted by his past and pursued by enemies. Along the way, he meets Kamiya Kaoru, a skilled kendo practitioner and dojo owner, and becomes embroiled in a conspiracy involving Takeda Kanryū, a ruthless businessman. As Kenshin works to protect the innocent and bring justice to those who have wronged him, he must confront his past and face off against his enemies in this action-packed adventure.
