In the movie Rock Dog, a Tibetan Mastiff named Bodi dreams of becoming a rock musician, but his father Khampa wants him to follow in his paws as the next guard of their village, Snow Mountain. When Bodi discovers a radio and hears the music of British rock legend Angus Scattergood, he decides to pursue his passion for music, much to Khampa's dismay. After Bodi's attempts to play in a band and meet Scattergood fail, he finds himself lost in the city and kidnapped by Linnux, the leader of a pack of wolves who want to take over Snow Mountain. Scattergood, however, sees Bodi's potential and invites him to his mansion for a "guitar lesson," where they create a new song together. But when Bodi realizes that Scattergood has taken credit for their song, he feels betrayed and sets out to prove himself. With the help of his new friends Darma and Germur, Bodi must find a way to defeat Linnux and his pack and save Snow Mountain. Along the way, he learns that following your dreams takes courage, perseverance, and a little bit of fire.
