In this retelling of the classic tale, Robin Hood (Taron Egerton) returns from the Third Crusade to find his home in Nottingham in shambles and his love, Marian (Eve Hewson), in the arms of another man. As he tries to make sense of his place in the world, he discovers that the corrupt Sheriff of Nottingham (Ben Mendelsohn) has taken control of the town and is oppressing its people. With the help of a trusty companion, Little John (Jamie Foxx), Robin decides to take matters into his own hands and lead a daring rebellion against the Sheriff's regime.
