Red Eye

Lisa Reisert, a hotel manager, is on a red-eye flight from Dallas to Miami when she discovers that her charming seatmate, Jackson Rippner, is actually a domestic terrorist planning to assassinate the Deputy Secretary of Homeland Security, who is staying at her hotel. Jackson forces Lisa to make a call to order the Secretary's family be moved to a targeted room where a missile will strike. When Lisa tries to warn a friendly passenger, Jackson retrieves the book and head-butts her unconscious. Lisa awakens and pretends to make the call, but then persuades Jackson to let her use the restroom. She writes a fake bomb threat in soap on the mirror and a young girl outside becomes suspicious. When the sky phones are operational again, Lisa calls her co-worker Cynthia and has her move the Keefe family to the targeted suite. She then stabs Jackson in the throat with a ballpoint pen, grabs his phone, and flees the plane. Lisa makes her way to Joe's house, steals an SUV, calls Cynthia warning her to evacuate the hotel and kill the hitman at Joe's house with the car. Arriving at Joe's house she sees the hitman shoots him with gun and retrieves it, then shoots Jackson. Joe shoots Jackson with the gun, and they both survive
