"Rags" is a heartwarming and inspiring musical comedy-drama about a young orphan named Charlie Prince who dreams of becoming a famous singer. Living with his acerbic stepfather and spoiled stepbrothers, Charlie's talent is overlooked and his dreams are crushed. That is, until he meets Kadee Worth, the daughter of a music mogul and an international pop phenomenon. Kadee is secretly frustrated with her manufactured pop star image and yearns to show the world her true talent. Despite their vastly different backgrounds, Charlie and Kadee form an unlikely friendship that helps them both discover their true voices and find their place in the music industry. With the help of Shawn, a studio technician, Charlie produces a demo CD that leads Kadee to discover his talent. They both face challenges as they try to pursue their dreams, but ultimately they learn that true success comes from being true to oneself.
