"Pulp" follows the journey of Tony Leary, a well-meaning comic book publisher, as he attempts to launch his newest superhero title, "The Sodomizer," at a prestigious comic convention. However, his plans are foiled when he's recruited by the police to take down a group of criminals using a rival comic company to launder their dirty money. With the help of his quirky sidekicks, Rick and Keith, Tony must navigate the treacherous world of comic books and crime bosses to become a real-life hero. Will he succeed, or will his dreams of success be pulped?
