"Presque comme les autres" tells the story of a young couple, Séverine and Christophe, who must come to terms with the fact that their son Tom is different from other children. Despite the reassurances of doctors and pediatricians, they know something is wrong. It takes three years before a diagnosis of autism is finally given, and the family must learn to navigate a new reality. Through their journey, the film sheds light on the challenges faced by families dealing with autism and the importance of acceptance and support.
