Panchlait

In the small village of Mahato Tola, nestled in the heart of rural India, life moves at a slow pace. The villagers live in darkness, both literally and metaphorically, their days defined by the absence of electricity and their nights illuminated only by the flickering flame of a gas lamp. But when the villagers finally manage to acquire a coveted Panchlait, they discover that no one knows how to light it. Enter Godhan, an outcast who was once a part of their community but was falsely accused and forced to leave. Godhan is the only one who knows the secret to igniting the lamp, and his return to the village sets off a chain of events that will change their lives forever. As the villagers learn to overcome their shortcomings and come together to bring light to their community, they must also confront the darker truths that have long been hidden in the shadows.
