In the coastal village of Karnataka, India, a young couple, Madhava and Sugandhi, are driven by their ambition to escape their humble fishing community roots. When a prophecy from a spirit ignites their desire for upward mobility, they set out on a dangerous journey of revenge and betrayal. Driven by Sugandhi's determination and Madhava's insecurities, they commit a series of tragic mistakes that haunt them with guilt and regret.
