Pad Man

Pad Man tells the inspiring story of Lakshmikant Chauhan, a determined entrepreneur who revolutionizes the menstrual hygiene industry in rural India. Despite public humiliation and resistance, Lakshmi persistently innovates and markets low-cost, hygienic sanitary pads for women, ultimately empowering them to prioritize their health and wellbeing. With the help of Pari Walia, an MBA student who joins him in his venture, Lakshmi's invention receives recognition at an innovation fair and he becomes a celebrated figure, earning the Padma Shri award. However, his journey is not without challenges as he faces rejection and ridicule from his own family and community.
