A carefree engineering student, Umesh, runs away to Chennai to become a film-maker, but his life takes an unexpected turn when he takes a selfie with his old neighbour, Daisy, and posts it online. The selfie goes viral, and Umesh becomes the talk of the town, but not in a good way. He returns home to find his family and neighbors in an uproar, thinking he's eloped with Daisy. With the help of a private detective, Umesh sets out to find Daisy and clear his name, but what he uncovers is a web of lies and deceit that threatens to ruin his life forever.
