What is Old School about? Toggle content

In the movie "Old School," three friends, Mitch, Frank, and Beanie, are fed up with their mundane adult lives and decide to relive their college years by starting their own off-campus fraternity. They move into a house near the university campus and throw a wild party that attracts unwanted attention from the school's dean, Gordon Pritchard. The friends exploit a loophole in university regulations to turn their home into a fraternity open to anyone, much to Pritchard's displeasure. The film follows the trio's antics as they haze college students during various events on campus. Despite facing challenges from Pritchard, who is determined to shut down their fraternity, the friends persist in their partying ways. They even convince an elderly fraternity member named Blue to join them for a "KY lube wrestling" match with two college girls at his birthday celebration. However, things take a turn when Blue dies of a heart attack during the match and Marissa asks Frank for a divorce after seeing him streaking with another woman. The tension between the fraternity and Pritchard reaches new heights when he bribes student council president Megan Huang into revoking their charter by promising her admission into Columbia Law School. Nicole confronts Mitch about his involvement in hooking up with Darcie at one of Bernard's parties instead of focusing on his relationship with her boyfriend Mark He attacks intruders who have broken into his house using karate moves before discovering they are actually police officers looking for evidence linking them back towards drug use within this institution which leads up until then had been peaceful since its founding many years ago under different leadership until these new kids arrived seeking degrees without doing any real work towards earning such status rather than just buying yourself credentials like everyone else there other than maybe 5% actually putting effort forward but those few rarely succeed due mainly because nobody wants them around because they don’t fit in socially so no one helps support or encourages them nor do they get invited out or included so overall this little venture ultimately fails too once again proving that cheaters never prosper! In conclusion Old School Is A Funny yet relatable film exploring how friendships evolve over time especially when people reach milestone ages such as 30 where life usually gets more complicated but sometimes all we need is some silliness surrounding us once again like we had growing up playing outside all day long till dusk came around reminding us dinner was ready back home where our families awaited us hungry after spending hours outdoors being active kids burning calories unlike today’s youth glued onto gadgets everywhere going nowhere fast physically or mentally speaking!
