In the scorching hot desert of northeastern Brazil, a loony martial arts enthusiast named Aluísio Li dreams of becoming a Shaolin monk, but his eccentricities make him a laughing stock in his town. When a professional MMA fighter challenges the locals to a fight, Aluísio sees an opportunity to prove his mettle and embarks on a journey to train with a purported Kung fu master. However, things take a turn when he discovers that his mentor is a fraud, and he must face the consequences of his actions. Will Aluísio be able to overcome his embarrassment and find redemption in the ring?
