Nona, a young Honduran woman, longs for a better life beyond her impoverished surroundings. When she meets the charismatic Hecho, she finds an unlikely companion and a chance for escape. As they journey together towards the United States, Nona's hopes and dreams are tested by the harsh realities of their path.
