Nabat

Nabat is a powerful drama set during the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. The film follows the story of an elderly couple, Nabat and her sick husband, who live in isolation, far from the nearest village. As the war approaches, the village is deserted, and Nabat is left alone after her husband's death. Despite the danger, she remains in her home, lighting lamps in the abandoned houses and village mosque, which becomes a symbol of hope and resilience. Nabat's only companion is a gray wolf, which she traps and releases, and later discovers has cubs, representing the future she is fighting for. As the Azeri military plans to retake the village, Nabat dies on her bench, surrounded by the first winter snows, leaving behind a legacy of courage and determination.
