Naan Kadavul" tells the story of Rudran, a young boy abandoned in Kasi who grows up to become a powerful mystic with a fierce sense of justice. After his father returns to bring him back to city life, Rudran becomes embroiled in a dangerous world of beggars controlled by the ruthless Thandavan. When Hamsavalli, a blind girl forced into begging, seeks his help, Rudran must confront Thandavan and ultimately grant her request for a peaceful death and liberation from the cycle of rebirth. Will Rudran's powers be enough to protect her and himself, or will they fall victim to Thandavan's cruelty?
