My Uncle Archimedes is a heartwarming and thought-provoking film that tells the story of Archimedes, a Greek refugee who flees to Czechoslovakia in 1949 seeking a better life under a socialist regime. With the help of his kind-hearted neighbors, Archimedes and his young wife Pénélope try to build a new life in a foreign land.
